These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lukas, the AI-powered chat platform operated by Lukas Labs LLC (“Lukas Labs,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Lukas is a subscription-based chatbot platform that allows businesses (“Clients”) to embed an AI-powered chat widget on their website. Features include lead capture, FAQ automation, and appointment booking via calendar integration.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at mike@lukaslabs.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
Lukas is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Billing is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Free trial periods (where offered) do not require a credit card. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You agree not to use Lukas to:
All leads, visitor conversations, and contact information collected through your Lukas-powered widget are your data. We do not sell, share, or use your client-collected lead data for Lukas Labs marketing or any purpose beyond operating the service on your behalf.
You are responsible for having a valid legal basis (such as consent) to collect and process visitor data through your widget, and for maintaining your own Privacy Policy disclosing the use of an AI chatbot on your site.
Responses generated by Lukas are powered by OpenAI’s API and are based on the business information you provide during setup. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for reviewing your bot’s behavior and ensuring responses are appropriate for your business.
The Lukas platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Lukas Labs LLC. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service. You retain ownership of all content and data you provide.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be performed with reasonable notice where possible. Support is available via email at mike@lukaslabs.ai.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lukas Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days and then deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
